My name is PRINCESS. SAVED!
A Volunteer Writes: Princess is a 1.5 yo female Akita mix, a stray at the shelter since 10/25/2010. She weights 38lbs. Is there someting like a small Akita? If yes, I found one at the Manhattan shelter. A real beauty and a well deserved name: Princess. Silk could be a surname as her coat just feel like it. So well groomed. So clean. Princess might not have beel long on the street. Princess is a shy dog but she comes easily out of her cage. She is quite good on the leash and does eliminate on the street. A pack of dogs from the doggy day care were met and Princess seemed fine with them, although she did not seem to want to greet them. Princess knows at least the command :sit. She is a timid but friendly dog without a hint of aggression. She clearly likes to be petted and brushed all over. She has a very thick but well groomed fur. Princess is a beautiful and very nice young dog. Come and meet her at the Manhattan shelter. She is waiting for her new family.

The lovely Golly sisters - American bulldog- Lab mixes -
These 2 sisters were dumped. A lot of people thought that they were mean because they showed their beautiful pearly white teeth, but they are SMILING. As you can see they are very beautiful girls and need a loving home.
